When you rent a commercial building, you’re responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building. As a part of your lease you are also responsible for all of the outgoings in a typical commercial lease. 
 

You need an inspection done when you move in so that you know the condition of the building first and have it in writing. Then when you move out there’s not a dispute with the landlord in them saying that perhaps the roller door is not working properly, or that window’s not working and such.
 

If you have a pre lease building inspection done before you move you then you can have the security of a detailed building condition report and you can avoid a dispute at the end of your lease.
