Meet Mike
Introducing the owner and founder of House Inspect Australia and Pest Inspect Australia, Mike Pearl.
Mike, is a third-generation, licensed general builder with over 25 years’ worth of experience in the building industry. Mike founded House Inspect Australia in 2014 and Pest Inspect Australia in 2019, after a very successful and diverse career in the building industry in both South Australia and New South Wales. Mike’s experience ranges from State Manager of one of the largest steel framing companies in Australia, founder of a steel frame company in New South Wales and more recently in South Australia, right through to Construction Manager of a residential building company. Mike holds a general builders license and multiple building qualifications.
In his spare time Mike loves spending time with his beautiful wife Heather and their friends, all while enjoying life with a non-craft beer or glass of gin. Mike's no good at golf nor fishing, but nonetheless gives them a go and loves them!

Introducing our inspector Barney!
Barney has been in the building and construction industry for almost 20 years. He has a background in carpentry, steel framing, structural steel and glazing right through to general building maintenance. Barney has qualifications in Building and Construction and Project Management and is licensed to build homes!
Barney is from the sunny island of Cyprus and is happily married to our other inspector Litsa, and they have two children Ana 14 and Yianni 13. What Barney loves most is spending time with his family and has a passion for travel.

Meet Litsa
Litsa Adamou is the first qualified female building inspector in South Australia. Litsa has a background in senior leadership and property and is licensed with qualifications in building, project management, business and commerce.
Born on the Greek island of Samos, Litsa lived most of her childhood in Adelaide and most of her teens tanning on those Greek island beaches. Litsa returned to Adelaide in 2001 and is a proud mum to Ana 14 and Yianni 13 and works alongside her partner in life and business Barney. Her passion is travel and she can’t wait to see more of the world.

Meet Chris
Chris comes to us having been in the pest industry for nearly fifteen years. He recently left his role as the Technical Manager at one of Adelaide’s largest pest control companies to spend more time with his wife Rebecca and two boys Willem and Toby.
He has vast knowledge in all facets of pest management including residential and commercial pest control but his real passion is termites.
In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family at their holiday house, fishing, camping and all things outdoors. He has also been a playing member for the Payneham Cricket Club for over 25 years.

Josh comes to us having been in the pest industry for over 7 years. Josh has vast knowledge in all facets of residential and commercial pest control, but his specialty is termites.
Josh enjoys playing basketball and currently plays for Division 1 Men’s Basketball for the Southern Tigers. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends!
